Step:1 Inspect the old spark Plug wires by looking for cuts or burn marks. Remove the wire from the plug and roll it around your finger to examine it for cracks. Even in the absence of these signs, they may still be worn-out internally.

Step:2 Baimish has plugcord wire kits that are designed just for your engine. The wire ends ar already installed, so you don't have to cut anything.

Step:3 Some wire kits have numbers on each wire. If not, match the old and new wires based on length. Make sure to replace only one wire at a time

Step:4 Remove the old wires by grasping the end boot, twisting the boot a little and pulling it off the distributor.

Step:5 Do the same thing on the spark plug end of the wire. Use a spark plug boot removal tool for best results, and reduce your chances of breaking the plug tip

Step:6 Use a finger tip of dielectric grease inside the boot of the new plug wire. Install the new wire by pushing it into place. You should feel a noticeable

Step:7 Make sure that the wire is not touching anything that can harm it, such as a fan belt or a hot part of the exhaust system. Use wires separators for proper placement of wires on the engin

Step:8 A new ignition coil wire is also a part of a new spark plug wire kit. It is replaced the same as the plug wires. Again, use dielectric grease at both ends

Keep the outside of the wires and boots grease free and clean.

Keep the wires separated as much as possible. When wires must cross, do so at a 90 degree angle.

*Dielectric grease is used to seal the boots from dirt and moisture. It also helps prevent the boots from sticking to the spark plug or cap/coil tower. If grease is include with the set, apply a thin coating of grease to the inside of the connectors, as grease was not pre-applied.
